Anthro Underground Café Branding
Anthro is underground café that believes mushroom coffee is the coffee of the future. This fun little café is just a few steps down a glowing staircase into a unique experience. Elements from mid-century modern design are mixed with holographic effects to give a funky, futuristic twist on a nostalgic style. The artwork and patterns all bow a nod to the unique shapes and textures of mushrooms. These elements are applied to letterhead stationery, promotional postcards, a table setting, and takeout packaging.

Development
The patterns and artwork in Anthro are directly inspired and sampled from the many unique shapes of mushrooms! Here are the original scans of hand-picked turkey tail mushrooms, as well as some spore prints from other unique mushrooms found in the forest.
