Lost in Space album design

This album is a tribute to The Music For Space Experiment, held by the European Space Agency. The purpose of the experiment is to study how music can affect the mood of the astronauts while in the conditions of space. Colorful, painterly digital illustrations of an astronaut slowly getting sucked into space draw the listener in with interest. Hand-drawn, chaotic typography act as the vortex that sucks the astronaut in, like a black hole. The inside illustration shows what the astronaut sees on the other side of the vortex of typography. The main idea for this album is to use songs that are not only about space but make you feel like you are traveling through space.
